another colour study this time following the colours of one of my photos of the forest floor. My painting’s subject again is my ink drawing of pine plantation. Also there’s a photo of my paint and a detail

So many colors and so much life! Bravo, Annerose! Have a safe and nice weekend, my friend!
Fabulous! You really delve into those colors! I know I’ve seen tangles of multi-colored leaves like the photo but I certainly haven’t seen paintings like yours. I love what you do with the source material. 🙂
Lynn, I really appreciate your kind comments. I know you are a fellow admirer of the tangles of nature. I’ve been trying to work with the forest floor colours and I’ve been struggling. These colour studies might help, anyway they’ve been fun
The tangles, yes…I’m sure they’re difficult to convey in paint – they certainly are hard to photograph with any coherence. The color studies are beautiful to my eyes! Struggle keeps us moving, right? 🙂
