I’m following my friend Rick’s good advice to put the canvas on the floor and use a lot of paint and big tools for the first part of painting.
Great advice, way too much fun!
In about an hour of applying paint (not counting the hour of set up and the hour of mixing colour…) I have something that looks like it could become a painting.
Space-wise it’s a bit of a challenge because it truly takes up almost all of my floor space, I can just inch around to the back side. Tomorrow I’ll stand it up on the yogurt buckets and keep going. The subject is the new growth after a forest fire.
